About Me

Rod Quin is a retired high school English teacher and writer based in Perth, Western Australia. He has taught English for over thirty years, has extensive experience as a curriculum developer and writer and was Supervising Examiner for W.A.'s final year Tertiary Entrance Examination (T.E.E.) in English for six years.

Between 2002 and 2008 Rod Quin worked as an independent education consultant and was contracted by over forty schools to help improve their final year English results.

Rod has written or co-written eighteen textbooks for students and teachers of English, two of which were shortlisted for the Australian Awards for Excellence in Educational Publishing. He has taught aspiring teachers at all four public universities in W.A.
